Terms of Service & License Agreement
Last updated: August 16, 2026. This agreement outlines your legal rights, licensing terms, and obligations when using Zenora UI components, source files, and developer tools.
- Free Core components are free for personal and commercial projects without attribution requirements.
- Full rights to client deliverables: You can build websites for clients and hand off the finished codebase.
- Lifetime rights: Installed source files in active production projects remain yours even if your subscription ends.
- No standalone redistribution: You cannot bundle or resell raw Zenora UI components in competing UI kits or template marketplaces.
Overview & Scope
This License Agreement ("Agreement", "License") is a legal contract between Zenora UI ("we", "us", or "our") and you, the individual or entity accessing, installing, or incorporating any component or source file from Zenora UI ("you" or "Licensee").
By installing, copying, or integrating any component, effect, shader, or source file made available through Zenora UI (via CLI, npm registry, or the website), you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- "Component" or "Asset": Any individual React component, animation file, template, variant, or shader provided by Zenora UI.
- "Free Core": Components marked as free in the Zenora UI catalog, available under open permissive community terms.
- "Zenora Pro": Premium components, packs, templates, and advanced WebGL systems requiring a paid commercial tier.
- "Source Files": The raw React/Next.js TypeScript code, Tailwind utility styles, and shader assets delivered into your codebase.
- "Project": A single production website, web application, SaaS product, or client deliverable in which you integrate Source Files.
- "Redistribute": Making raw Source Files, or the Zenora UI catalog itself, publicly accessible as a standalone boilerplate, theme kit, marketplace listing, or competing library.
2. Free Core License
Subject to this Agreement, Zenora UI grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:
- Use Free Core components in unlimited personal, commercial, and client projects.
- Inspect, modify, adapt, restyle, and combine the source files to fit your application architecture.
- Host installed Free Core components in public or private repositories as part of a finished project.
No attribution ("Powered by Zenora UI") is required in your end applications.
3. Zenora Pro License
Under an active Zenora Pro license tier, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access, download, modify, and integrate Zenora Pro components in commercial projects.
Individual Tier: Permitted for solo developers, freelancers, and single-operator commercial apps.
Team & Agency Tier: Permitted across authorized engineering teams, multi-seat organizations, and client deliverables.
Lifetime Rights Upon Cancellation
If your Zenora Pro subscription is cancelled or lapses, all Project Source Copies already installed into active production projects remain fully licensed for lifetime maintenance and hosting. Cancellation only limits downloading future updates or incorporating Pro components into brand-new projects.
4. Client Deliverables & Handoffs
Zenora UI is built specifically for freelancers, digital agencies, and software development teams:
- Building client websites & custom software
- Transferring ownership of finished client repos
- Charging clients for custom engineering services
- Reselling raw components on theme marketplaces
- Allowing clients to reuse code across unlicenced new apps
5. Prohibited Use & Restrictions
You may not under any circumstances:
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell raw Zenora UI source files or shader algorithms.
- Bundle Zenora UI components in open-source boilerplate kits intended for mass component redistribution.
- Package components into visual website builders or competing UI library registries.
- Scrape the component catalog to construct datasets for training AI code generators without authorization.
6. Accounts & Access Keys
CLI access tokens and account credentials are strictly personal to the authorized license holder or registered seat count. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your tokens.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Zenora UI components and tooling are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zenora UI and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the source files.
